What if I make a mistake?
If you request the wrong program or you get an alarm condition at the machine during a transfer ie: MEM full etc. all you do is issue a reset command to the computer and start again.

Where do the programs get saved to?
When setting up the system you decide you want to use the system, we have many options which are all specific to each and every machine.

What about special Protocols, do they cost extra?
Unlike some of our competitors we do not charge extra for special protocols.

Remote Mazatrol is available with automatic work number and description extraction from Mazatrol code for us as a filename.  For ISO Mazatrol, the standard methods described previously work well

Heidenhain TNC (FE1 & FE2) Mode

Heidenhains own protocol which allows full access to programs but it restricted to 8 character filenames by the Heidenhain control.

Fanuc Data Server & Fanuc Networking uses FTP Server which is included within the software

What if I have a problem and cannot sort it myself?
Each machine has its own log of what has happened on the port and is displayed by the click of a button. If you cannot sort the problem print the log and fax or email us.

Do I need an annual maintenance contract?
There is no maintenance contract for supporting CNCLINK, this is because once it has been set-up correctly, it simply works without any problems, so any charge for maintenance would not be justified. We do not charge for any support unless we have to visit a customer's site, 90% of problems that arise can be sorted by viewing the log, telephone or email support is included.

Once the System is set-up further service is no longer required unless the customer requests changes for example: to change a CNC machine.

What about future developments and upgrades?
Developments are taking place with CNCLINK on a regular basis due to customer requests; therefore we supply all new features. We do not charge for updates.
